other suggestions

Set up a committee of interested people to lead the support:

Be the voice to all you meet

Set up fund raisers for an organization

Visit the organization on the field with a team

Donate any unused furniture to set up safe houses

Organize a food drive ( victims need to eat every day with no means of income)

Get businesses in your community involved in supporting your organization or get them to pick another organization.

Have your committee make a presentation in the business on human trafficking.

Get a business to pick a organization to sponsor

Giving direct to ministry

Providing for travel needs: any part of these, do not need to cover all needs or even all of one need, one or two airline tickets a year is a great blessing.

Share the need with other businesses

Community awareness on human trafficking in general:

Table at fair, march in a parade, table at local picnic, set up outside movie theater especially if relevant movie, be present at any political / social gathering.

Contact your government officials about their involvement and awareness.

The more people are aware the harder it is to do trafficking.

Post indicators of people that may be trafficked.

Make a presentation in the following areas, they are the places traffickers look for victims:

Your local school

Prevention Education

Warn about chat rooms on internet

Foster care organization

Group home
