About Us
Freedom through Hope, Help, and Healing in Christ
Breaking Chains Network is a ministry dedicated to combatting Human Trafficking by serving individuals caught in sexual exploitation in Belgium and increasing awareness and prevention worldwide. BCN is a ministry of the Assemblies of God World Missions, a registered NGO in the USA, and a non-profit ASBL in Belgium.
Our Story
Breaking Chains Network was founded in 2007 by Jerry and April Foster. It began with a couple ladies making weekly trips to the red-light district of Antwerp, Belgium to do prayer walks, meet the women, and find out who they were, where they were from, and what support they needed. Our goal was to encourage them and help connect them to God's love and His better plan for their lives, not just though words but in practical ways.
In the past 15 years, BCN has grown into a international team and we have opened our own ministry center which functions as a community outreach center and church for the red-light district. We have helped many women leave prostitution and escape human trafficking, as well as developed prevention programs that have been used in 30+ countries, and spread the light, love, and freedom of Christ into countless lives.
BCN's team is composed of full-time missionaries and part-time volunteers and is fully supported through funds raised in the United States and Belgium. We are affiliated with Project Rescue Europe, The European Freedom Network, and ICAP Global.
